My weekend was rather subdued. Saturday was spent with some spring cleaning and laundry. I shuffled the pictures on the wall and cleared up the long livingroom wall so we can put the projector there. We put new locks on the refridgerator and cabinets to keep Tommy out. So far it's been working.
This morning, I replaced a cache in Myakkahatchee Creek Nature Park with Gary's wife, Linda, and shot a few portraits of C Shift and the Battalion Chief at CCFEMS Station 12. The chief gave me a good tour of the Technical Rescue. Station 12 is down the road from San Antonio Catholic Church and it looks like the church is done with their new sanctuary.
On Friday, I set up a couple our hides that needed repair or replacement. Harbor Arbor at Harbor Heights Park needed a new log, a bag, and a new case. I think this one will do better against the elements. If not, I have more options. Good Boy! at Roscoe's gravemarker needed a replacement of everything.
The remainder of the weekend was spent spring cleaning the house. This evening, I finished preparing a letterbox hide. I'm debating whether I'm going to put the information on Atlas Quest, within another letterbox, a geocache, or on a messageboard.
It's Holy Week. St. Patrick's Day is tomorrow. I still have the four remaining geocaches in Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park, plus another geocache located north of I-75 in Venice.
Here's a few more images from Harbor Heights Park and a look at Roscoe's grave:
I've decided to turn Papa's impromptu visits into babysitting for housecleaning. While Tommy ran Tom's dad around the back and front yard, with much time spent exploring his minivan, I got the mail sorted, the coffee table cleaned off, the kitchen counters washed, the table cleaned, the floor swept, the carpet vacuumed, frebreezed everything and changed my clothes into something less sweatery since it's no longer a 48° morning.
After he falls asleep for his nap, I only have to mop, do the dishes, throw in some laundry, and clean the glass. Yay!
I don't know why I look at these things, but I do.
Carlisle Wide Plank Floors offers this Ash Hardwood Flooring product:
I'd put this throughout my entire house if I could. I love light wood flooring much more than ceramic tile and a hundred times more than carpet. This vendor has the most beautiful flooring products I've seen on the web so far. This gets added to my bookmark list of hopes & dreams. I did order the catalog. I love free catalogs full of stuff I can't afford.

Today, we've been switching the children's bedrooms so that the boys, who are more regularly in greater quantity, have the bigger room.
Son3's 2nd birthday is June 30th.
Tomorrow, I have to take Daughter to south Punta Gorda at 8am so she can have Father's Day with her deadbeat father. I pick her up from the same location at 6pm. At noon, we meet yacidka's parents for lunch at Golden Corral, which is going to be packed. I'm hoping to arrive a fashionable yet lifesaving fifteen minutes late so my in-laws have already gotten a table and we can whisk our mischievous and impatient toddler from the car into a high chair.
