New betta and new 1 gallon tank. It's a very happy little fish. We also purchased the replacement tank for Michael's fish. Tom can take care of that any time he decides to before Michael gets home. I did manage most of the errands that were planned, the most exhausting always being the grocery shopping. When you grocery shop on the first of the month, it makes one daydream of grocery shopping in Walmart at 2am.

The previous musing about a new Waymarking category for Eagle Nests has launched into something a bit more inclusive and also more mindful in preserving endangered species, or those birds that are no longer on the list but are still protected by the same laws. I'm not a birdwatcher in any capacity so this is taking a lot of education, research and consulting with Tom, who is an experienced birdwatcher, as well as working with other waymarkers to develop an appropriate and worthy category description. It may take longer than a category write-up usually takes me, but that's fine. I want it polished and right before it goes to Peer Review.
